This is a NEW bare custom PCB for the power supply of the Sanyo M-X720K boombox. The power supply circuit board for the M-X720k serves a structural purpose. Accordingly, during shipping, a strong jolt in the correct plane will crack and maybe shatter the PCB. Although you might be able to bridge any cracked traces with wire, the truth is that the failure will continue because the structural integrity of the board has already been compromised and it would not be possible to support the weight of the transformer (over 2 lb, or 1kg) without further failure. If your power supply board is intact, there are additional benefits to using our board; see "Features" below for differences.
This custom PCB was manufactured to modern standards and is far stronger and thus, better suited for this purpose. This is a bare PCB only. Sold as-show, as-is. This board is custom designed to permit the use of aftermarket transformers in situations where the factory transformer has been damaged or blown. OPTIONS
We can pre-install a transformer for you. Please select the proper option before ordering. Hammond 187D10 is a 10V secondary transformer and will result in an unregulated power supply output of ~15VDC. Triad F6-12 is a 12.6V secondary transformer that will result in approximate unregulated power supply output of ~20.7VDC. Note that a JVC RC-M70 power supply was measured at 20.6VDC (which is also a 15V boombox). *COMPLETE: option includes new transformer, 2 new fuses, all new capacitors, new resistors, new schottky diode, and new robust rectifier module, pre-installed (You still must transfer the original plastic jacks and switches which are obsolete and no longer available new)
